Yunquan Pavilion and Jao Tsung-I Academy are co-organizing the 'The Convergence of Scholarship and Art：Modern Chinese Scholars'Calligraphy and Painting from the Yun Quan Studio Collection'. Dr. Tang Wai-hung, a Golden Melody lyricist, pioneer of Hong Kong television, and collector, will showcase his carefully curated collection of modern scholars' calligraphy and paintings, amassed over more than four decades. The exhibition includes nearly 80 pieces of calligraphy and paintings by scholars such as Weng Tonghe, Cai Yuanpei, Kang Youwei, Lu Xun, Hu Shih, Ji Xianlin, and Jao Tsung-I.

The exhibition takes a cultural, historical, and educational approach, using these precious artifacts to promote the calligraphy traditions of modern scholars, showcase the spirit of integrating art and scholarship, and guide students, the public, and visitors from around the world to a deeper understanding of Chinese traditional culture and the intellectual legacy of scholars and educators from the late Qing dynasty to the early Republican period. Between the lines, one can sense the scholars' spirit and the imprint of their times.
